Easy on the gums September 8, 2010 Craig My 6 month old son seems to enjoy eating with the spoons. He's not of the age to hold them himself and I worry that they may be too heavy and long, but in the meantime he enjoys the colors and the tips don't hurt his gums.
Handle is too long/heavy. August 31, 2010 Michael W McVicker I totally agree with a previous comment regarding the handle on these spoons (too heavy). Every time I set the spoon down in a dish, the spoon flips out. I also dislike the depth of the spoon as well - makes it difficult to feed, and messy.
Not a great spoon August 31, 2010 kapleap I am using this spoon for past 7/8 months. These are durable and have fun colors. My son liked them.
They are not very great though because of the design. The bottom or stem of the spoon is very heavy so when you keep the spoon in bowl it falls out of the bowl due to the stem weight. The weight also maked it easy to topple out of the bowl even with slightest jerk. My son could splash the food all over the table and sometimes on the floor with slightest movement. My mom and mother in law were so frustrated with these spoons that they wanted me to throw them away. Only thing that kept me from getting rid of these were I bought a pack of 6! Had it been only couple of them I would have replaced them with some light weight spoons immediately.
Baby says yum! August 31, 2010 emllama My 5 month old can't talk yet but she does seem to enjoy using these spoons. They are soft on her toothless gums and small enough for her mouth. The only drawback that I can see is the long handles which are good for me but not so good for attempts to self-feed. Curbing the self-feeding at this stage may save me a lot of mess anyway!
Best ever feeding spoons! August 27, 2010 Jessica Warner Phipps (Indiana) These spoons are great. The extra length and just the overall feel of the spoon in your hand is above and beyond other spoons I've tried in the past. Great value for the price, as well.
